More Than Motivation. Real Mental Training.

EMS Performance was built on a simple belief: the mental game is just as trainable as the physical game—but most athletes are never shown how to train it.

Athletes are surrounded by messages like “be confident,” “stay focused,” “be mentally tough,” and “shake it off.” While these ideas are important, they don’t help if athletes don’t know how to actually apply them when pressure hits.

EMS Performance exists to bridge that gap.

Our Mission

Our mission is to equip athletes with clear, practical mental skills they can rely on in competition—so confidence, focus, and resilience aren’t accidental or inconsistent.

We help athletes learn how to:

  • Respond to pressure instead of reacting to it

  • Recover quickly from mistakes

  • Trust their preparation and abilities

  • Compete freely rather than cautiously

  • Perform consistently when expectations are high

Mental toughness isn’t something you’re born with—it’s something you build.

Our Approach

EMS Performance takes a skill-based, coachable approach to the mental game.

We don’t rely on hype, clichés, or vague motivation. Instead, athletes are taught:

  • Why pressure affects performance

  • What causes confidence to rise or fall

  • How fear of failure shows up in competition

  • How to create mental routines that hold up under stress

Every strategy is designed to be:

  • Easy to understand

  • Simple to apply

  • Effective in real competition

Athletes leave sessions knowing exactly what to do when the moment gets big.

Who We Serve

EMS Performance works with athletes who:

  • Perform well in practice but struggle in games

  • Lose confidence after mistakes

  • Overthink during competition

  • Feel tight, anxious, or hesitant under pressure

  • Want to gain a competitive edge beyond physical training

We work with:

  • Youth, high school, and collegiate athletes

  • Individual athletes and teams

  • Coaches who want more confident, resilient competitors

If pressure exposes weaknesses, mental training strengthens them.

Why Mental Game Coaching Matters

Most performance breakdowns aren’t caused by lack of talent—they’re caused by:

  • Fear of failure

  • Fear of judgment

  • Trying not to make mistakes

  • Playing to avoid losing instead of playing to win

EMS Performance helps athletes shift from:

  • Fear → Confidence

  • Overthinking → Trust

  • Tension → Freedom

  • Inconsistency → Control

When the mental game improves, performance follows.

Our Philosophy

We believe:

  • Confidence is built through clarity, not hype

  • Mistakes are inevitable—but spirals are optional

  • Pressure doesn’t create problems; it reveals them

  • The best competitors train their minds on purpose

EMS Performance is committed to helping athletes develop a mental game they can trust—no matter the moment.

Take the Next Step

If you’re an athlete ready to stop letting pressure dictate your performance—or a coach looking to develop mentally stronger athletes—EMS Performance is here to help.

Train the mind. Trust the process. Compete with confidence.

Meet the Coach

David Morgan, Mental Game Coaching Professional

David Morgan is the Mental Game Coaching Professional behind EMS Performance and has spent the past 11 years coaching high school baseball, working daily with athletes navigating pressure, expectations, failure, and confidence.

Through years on the field and in the dugout, David saw a consistent pattern: many athletes had the physical tools to succeed, but their performance rose and fell based on what was happening between their ears.

That experience shaped his core belief—the mental game is just as important, if not more important, than physical skill development.

Coaching From Experience

As a coach, David watched talented athletes struggle not because of lack of ability, but because of:

  • Fear of making mistakes

  • Loss of confidence after failure

  • Overthinking during competition

  • Playing tight under pressure

Rather than accepting these struggles as “just part of sports,” David became committed to teaching athletes how to handle these moments—not just telling them to “be tougher” or “focus more.”

A Long-Term View of Performance

David believes that while physical skills are critical, they are also temporary.

Speed fades. Strength declines. Athletic advantages eventually disappear.

But the mental skills an athlete develops—confidence, resilience, emotional control, focus, and trust—last a lifetime.

These skills don’t just help athletes perform better in competition; they serve them in:

  • Academics

  • Careers

  • Relationships

  • Life under pressure beyond sports

Purpose-Driven Mental Training

David’s approach to mental game coaching is practical, intentional, and grounded in real coaching experience.

Athletes working with EMS Performance aren’t just motivated—they’re equipped. They learn how to:

  • Respond to pressure

  • Reset after mistakes

  • Trust their preparation

  • Compete with confidence instead of fear

David’s mission is simple: help athletes build a mental game they can rely on—now and for the rest of their lives.
